What position do your hips live in most of the day? If you are like most people. it is knee and hip flexion—otherwise known as sitting. Most people want to have firm and functional hips too, but the thing is, your body adapts to the movements you do most OFTEN not the ones you do most ENTHUSIASTICALLY. To take hips that are in flexion most of the time and start doing enthusiastic exercise drills like lunges or burpees is an invitation to injury or overload of accessory joint muscles. Furthermore, if sport activities place hips in more flexion, an overuse injury is likely without adding nourishing movements that provide counterbalance.
 
In this workshop, you will learn how to activate all the muscles associated with the hip joints, how to strengthen weakened or stiff connective tissues and create the right type of support for more loaded movements. Perfect for those that like to boot camp, cycle, or run for sport and fitness, for desk jockeys, or for anyone interested in better pelvic health.
