On The Path Yoga has one of the very few rope walls in West Michigan. Referred to as Yoga Karunta and developed primarily by one of the leading gurus of the 20th century, BKS Inyengar, the word karunta in Sanskrit means "puppet." In this workshop you will explore how to use the traction and support of the ropes and Mysore straps to enhance basic yoga asanas as well as inversions.
If you are curious about the ropes, this is your chance to find out more about the use of them for your private yoga practice. If you are a yoga instructor, this workshop will help you to understand the forces of prana in yoga asana, the difference between closed and open chain movements, and enhance your overall teaching by experiencing classical Hatha Yoga inspired by BKS Iyengar's teachings.
NOTE: space is LIMITED for this workshop and pre-registration is required! (limited to 12 participants)
Cost: $50 members / $75 non-members
